Sundays

SUNDAYS

What should you expect at OCC on Sunday? Come as you are and expect to find people like you who are trying to be real with God! We’re passionate about God and making Him real in our everyday life. We’re intentional about being “irreligious” but not irreverent. We invite people to dress however they feel comfortable. We don’t want anyone to feel like they have to put on a “mask” when they come to church. We believe church should be fun, and at the same time, a place where the relevance, power and holiness of Jesus are taken seriously. The result is a diverse and exciting place.

On Sundays we sing to contemporary music, use a variety of media, enter into God’s Story creatively, and reflect on practical messages aimed at real life issues. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual with services lasting about an hour and fifteen minutes.

What About the Kids

Bring the kids along – there’s a place for them at OCC! Our Sunday morning children’s ministry [OCC Kids] provides an exciting, quality experience for your children from birth to grade 6. We have a staffed nursery for those under the age of 2. We have recently moved to a full morning of children's ministry for boys and girls aged 4 to 11. We know your children will enjoy their own safe, loving place to discover God.

Service Times

The morning service starts at 10:00am and ends around 11:15am. Typically we start off with worship led by our contemporary band using a blend of musical genres.

On Sunday evening's, somtimes there is a prayer/communion worship service from 6:30 to 7:30pm.

Once a month [usually the last Sunday of the month] we show a family friendly film at 6:00pm.

Other Sundays we prayer walk or leave it free to connect with family and friends.
