THE PURPOSE OF OCC:

Orillia Community Church is a purpose driven (directed by Biblical principles) and presence driven (seeking the leading and enabling of the Holy Spirit) church. The following WORDS describe the fivefold purpose of Orillia Community Church: 

Worship: To worship God actively, cheerfully, relevantly, creatively, sacrificially, reverentially and wholeheartedly.

Outreach: To reach out and introduce people to Jesus, invite them to join Orillia Community Church, and involve them in the fivefold purpose of the church.

Relationships: To support, strengthen and sustain people in their relationships with God and each other.

Discipleship: To disciple people by edifying, educating, encouraging, equipping and exhorting them to become more like Jesus in their thoughts, words and deeds.

Service: To serve people with our Spirit given gifts and abilities in the church (ministry) and in the world (missions).
